The Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad election is moving closer to victory for candidate Mujibur Rahman, showing that many people are supporting him.
Everywhere the campaign goes in Sadar Upazila, people are coming together to support Mujib when they see him, believing he will win with their votes.
Last Friday, Mujibur Rahman began campaigning from Kolatoli in Ward 12 of Cox’s Bazar Pourashava. He then went to campaign in Chandar Para and Muhuri Para of Jhingjha Union. Afterwards, he held a rally in Muhuri Para.
During his campaign, Mujibur Rahman talked about how, as the mayor, he made significant improvements to roads that used to have paddy planted on them.
He also promised that if he’s elected, Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila will become a safe area without crime.
Mujib mentioned that the opposition is saying bad things about him to try to make people think he’s corrupt. But he believes his supporters have actually been the ones hurt by corruption. He plans to prove this during the vote on May 8.
In the evening, Mujib spoke at a meeting organized by Cox’s Bazar District Krishak League to support Anwar Markar.
The highly talked-about Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad election will take place on May 8.
