In the evening, he exchanged greetings at a traditional religious event in the city’s Harijon Para and delivered a speech at a religious gathering in the Galdighi Para Temple.
Notable figures from the district Awami League, Sadar Upazila, and Cox’s Bazar City Corporation were present along with the leadership of the respective Awami League units in the region.
The important election in this Sadar Upazila of the district will be held on May 8.
