Mujibur Rahman, the chairman candidate with the pineapple symbol in the upcoming Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad election, is being showered with love from the people wherever he goes in different unions for campaigning.
Since Thursday noon, he has been campaigning in Time Bazar, Pal Para, Bangabandhu Bazar, Napit Para, Hamzar Dail, Bamankata, Sheikh Hasina Ashrayan Project, Dail Para, Rastar Para, Tetaiya, and the area adjacent to the old union parishad in Khuruishkul union.
Later, he addressed street meetings at Bangabandhu Bazar and Pal Para New Bazar.
The former public representative sought to serve the people of Sadar Upazila by promising to develop the remote areas of the 5 unions of Sadar Upazila in the same way Cox’s Bazar Pourashava has been transformed into a modern city.
During the meetings, district Awami League leader Advocate Ranjit Das, former Khuruishkul chairman Jasim Uddin, Poura Awami League general secretary Ujjwal Kar, Khuruishkul union Awami League president Rafiq Uddin and general secretary Mohammad Riyad, and other dignitaries of the area spoke at separate street meetings.
